Jerh Collins

As Head of the Chemical Operations platform Jerh is responsible for the worldwide manufacturing and supply of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).  Over the last 23 years Jerh has amassed considerable experience in the pharmaceutical sector working with Novartis, Merck & Co and Eli Lilly. He joined Novartis through ChemOps Ringaskiddy in 1993 and has successfully held a variety of roles in Ireland, Basel and the UK, including involvement in the launch of Glivec in 2002, Managing Director of ChemOps Grimsby Ltd before returning to Basel in 2010 as Head of ChemOps Switzerland. A graduate of University College Cork, Jerh holds a degree in Chemistry, a doctorate in Organic Synthesis and was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Cancer Research Institute at Arizona State University, USA.
