Johnathon Marshall

Johnathon Marshall is a Partner at PwC where he is an active member of the Operations Leadership team, with specific responsibility for running the UK Supply Chain Team. He has over 15 years consulting experience during which time he has focused on the challenges facing procurement and supply chain teams across a range of global industry players. 

In his role leading PwC’s European pharmaceutical supply chain community, he has worked with clients and colleagues to develop critical and engaging analysis on the evolution of the sector and the role supply chain needs to play in the provision of healthcare whilst remaining focused on the legal, fiscal and regulatory needs.

Johnathon has worked on a range of complex and high profile program’s during his consulting career, from the National Program for IT, looking to transform healthcare IT systems to Global Supply Chain operating model changes, impacting in excess of 100 countries. These experiences provide Johnathon with a clear perspective on how to drive business transformations that embrace significant change to the core business operating model, the skills of the organisation and enabling technology platforms. 

Prior to his move to consulting Johnathon had 5 years of industry experience in fast-moving consumer goods industries where he held positions in distribution, manufacturing, demand planning. 

He brings an in-depth knowledge of the following areas of business change:

• Supply Chain Operating Model Design, covering API and Secondary.
• Tax efficient supply chain strategies (VCT).
• Procurement and Sourcing Strategies.
• Product Launch Supply management.
• Development (NPI) Portfolio and Project Management.
• Business outsourcing principles, operating model, performance management and relationship management.
• Pharmaceutical GMP/GDP
• Systems design build and implementation.

Johnathon has worked at all levels within client organisations.  He has supported a range of global clients in a range of territories from the US, Europe, Nordic Countries and Japan including a two year secondment to Boston in the US
Johnathon has a BSc (Hons) in Physical Geography from the University of St Andrews
