Michiel Veenman

Having studied logistics, Michiel has experience working for the Dutch Department of Defense and in automation systems simulation and analysis. Before joining Swisslog, he spent 5 years optimizing warehouse operations and IT systems for a pharmaceutical wholesaler. At Swisslog has worked with various pharmaceutical companies to design advanced intralogistics solutions, before taking on his current role as global pharmaceutical expert for Swisslog. As such, he is responsible for continuously improving Swisslog’s offering to the pharmaceutical market. This includes market research, organizational development and training, solution design and systems support. Swisslog is the leading supplier of flexible and data driven automated intralogistic solutions. The pharmaceutical industry has since many years a core focus for Swisslog, with over 50 solutions successfully realized.
